With this event, the IC of Germany continues with the executive committee's goal of lowering the average age of active IC members by an attractive tournament, which combines individual tournaments with a nation's cup. The Trophy consists of 6 singles- and 3 doubles-tournaments, in which one player/pair of each invited nation participates. The losers of the first round play a plate-tournament. Furthermore, each win contributes with points to the nations' competition. |

Notes: | Site of the 2010 Germany vs. France Fed Cup Tie that will take place on April 24-25. The club is centrally located in an easily accessible location in north Frankfurt and is one of the finest and most modern in Germany tennis facilities: 22 tennis courts, 17 sand and 5 indoor tennis courts, fitness equipment and aerobics room, billiards, sauna and playground. |

There will be prices for all category winners. The winning IC-nation of the whole event will be the IC, whose players have totaled the greatest number of points. In case of a tie, the winner will be the IC, whose players have won more points in the singles competitions. If still tied, the IC with the better result in the open men's category is the winner. If still tied, the open ladies category decides. If still tied, the better result of men's 35, then men's 40, then men's 45, then ladies' 40 decides. Special rules : Matches shall be the best of three sets with a ten point tie-break used in all cases as the third set. (Normal tie-break in the first 2 sets) |

| All costs for players are included in the team entry fee paid by the USIC. If a player wishes to stay in a single room there is a fee of 75, - euros ($102.43). Player guests would have to pay following: (based on 3/10/10 exchange rate) a. 3 nights in the hotel (Thursday until Sunday) sharing a double-room: 150,- euros ($204.86) or 3 nights in the hotel (Thursday until Sunday) in a single-room: 225,- euros ($307.28) b. 3 dinners and lunch-buffets: Flat-rate of 100,- euros ($136.57) |
