Following on the success of last year's Doubles in the Desert at La Quinta, we are notching up the competition this year for our second annual USIC social tennis event to be held at Grove Isle Tennis Club in Coconut Grove. Australian IC member and 18-time Grand Slam champion Fred Stolle will join us for tennis on Thursday, March 25 from 1-4 pm. We will kick off the festivities with a cocktail reception on Wednesday evening, March 24 at a beautiful waterfront penthouse at the Gables Club in Coral Gables. The Board of Directors will hold its in-person meeting at Grove Isle Thursday morning prior to the tennis event. All who are in the Miami area and others who wish to travel are welcome to join us for the festivities. We have also secured an excellent discount on box seat tickets for Thursday evening March 25 to attend the Sony Ericsson Open. More info below.
