Michael J Beautyman

Biography
Tennis: He played singles on two USTA teams which won world championships, in Turkey and New Zealand, won the silver medal in individual play at the World Championships, and has won five national titles and a dozen silver and bronze balls. He serves as Captain of the USIC team for the Presidents' Cup, the bi-annual U.S.A.-France match. Michael has been ranked in the top 10 in the United States in four different sports (two as a starting member of a team), and was a 3-sport varsity athlete in college, starting on two soccer teams that reached the Final 8 of the NCAA's Div. I.
Clubs & Boards: Michael has served on the Board or on Committees for the USIC, the Philadelphia Cricket Club, the Longwood Cricket Club, The Country Club in Brookline, Sports Dynamics Laboratories, Inc., and Computer Aided Communications, Inc., among other organizations.
Business: Michael Beautyman is the managing partner of the law firm of Beautyman Alvstad, LLP, and the owner of Beautyman Consulting, and of Beautyman Computing, a website development and maintenance company. He was formerly a partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath in Philadelphia and prior to that at Ropes & Gray in Boston. His clients are spread over three continents. He wrote the first published article calling upon the U.S. legal system to accept DNA evidence and demonstrating its evidentiary value from a scientific and legal perspective.
Education: Michael was graduated from Eaglebrook School, Phillips Exeter Academy, obtained his A levels at Malvern College in England, Trinity College (B.A., English) and the University of Virginia School of Law (J.D.).
