Long time USIC member Jimmy Parker reached a milestone that few senior tennis players could even dream of. At the 65 National Grasscourt Championships in New Jersey, Jimmy won his 99th and 100th Gold Balls. A gold ball is awarded to the winners of USTA National Championships. He won both the singles and doubles at this event. His long time partner, Ken Robinson , is also a USIC member and together they have won numerous National Championships.

Parker was a long time Director of Tennis at the Houston Racket Club and retired from that job last year. He and his wife Ellen moved to Santa Fe where they built their dream house. Jimmy continues to play tennis and recently was on the winning US Team at the World Team Championships in Perth Western Australia. The US Team also had USIC members Dick Johnson and Fred Drilling on the team. The other US winner at the team Championships was the 75 and over team led by USIC members John Powless and King Van Nostrand. In the Individual final King defeated John in an epic three set match. Congratulations to all of them for their great results.
