2024 Business Returns survey

Keeping up to date with the latest information of all of our ICs is important, so that the IC Council can help each and every IC to continue to grow and thrive. To that end, we have distributed this year’s Business Returns survey to all IC Presidents and Honorary Secretaries, which we expect to be completed by the relevant Board member of every IC on behalf of their whole club by Friday 21 March.  More detailed instructions on how to complete the survey have been emailed separately.

The findings of this year’s survey will then be discussed at our 2025 AGM and workshops in July.

You can fill out the survey here

If you have any issues completing it, please contact Laura Bunster Galeno (laura@ictennis.net)

IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge finalists

2024 featured four tightly contested regional qualifier events for this year’s IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge Worldwide Finals, which will take place in Barcelona in July.

The winning ICs who will progress to the Finals were Argentina, Italy, Mexico and India – and they will be accompanied by South Africa and a team from the hosts, the IC of Spain.

A huge thanks goes to the ICs of Argentina, Spain, Barbados and Singapore for hosting the South American, European, North American & Caribbean and Asian & Australasian events respectively.

You can read more about the qualifiers here.

The IC of Australia celebrates the 2025 Australian Open in style

January was a very busy time for the IC of Australia, as they held a series of events to mark the first Grand Slam of the year – featuring a host of famous players along with guests from the ICs of Bermuda, New Zealand and the USA.

You can read more about the events here.

Meet a member: John Feaver, IC of Great Britain

John Feaver has been a dedicated member of The IC of Great Britain since 1972, after being introduced by IC and All England Club member Derek Hardwick, a farmer friend from his home county of Dorset.
John has a number of fond memories of his IC matches, not least a memorable dinner with the British Davis Cup team at a restaurant in Paris before a match with the IC of France, where he quickly discovered that he was not a fan of steak tartare!

John is a huge advocate of the IC Club and in particular the lasting friendships he has made around the world with fellow players who have the same outlook on life and enjoy competition, fun and good food. He is proud to be part of a network that transcends boundaries and cultural differences, and felt privileged to help host the Club’s Centenary at The All England Club last year.

You can read more about John’s story here.
