USIC member Joel Drucker was inducted into the USTA Northern California Hall of Fame for his lifelong contributions to the sport of tennis. He has been a USIC member since 2018.
Drucker is a highly respected tennis writer with more than 35 years of experience contributing to major outlets including HBO, CBS, Tennis Channel, and the New York Times. He has been recognized for his insightful coverage of the sport’s cultural and human aspects and has served as historian-at-large for the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
Drucker’s career has spanned writing for television, including work for HBO and Tennis Channel, and he is the author of two books, “Jimmy Connors Saved My Life” and “Don’t Bet on It”, a tribute to his late wife.
